The loss was the Blues’ second of the league season as they dropped to 10th in the table.
Jackett felt his troops showed decent signs going forward but could not find a ‘killer punch’.
And failing to score left them vulnerable to conceding a late goal.

‘We probably had two from corners in the first half that just went over the bar. Marcus Harness forced out a good save from the keeper late on.
‘After that, we had a lot of pressure and some good build-up play. Generally, we were on top right the way through the game but couldn't find that cutting edge. They got one on the break and it cost us.
‘They defended well and that's first thing but it didn't quite fall for us at the right time and in the right area.

‘We had a great win last week and lost today, but a lot what we did was good and we need to find the shots and the cutting edge.
‘As we go into next week, there is a lot we can take into it and we need it.’
