Large tree crushes car after falling down

SOMEONE had a close escape after a tree collapsed and crushed a car in Rowland's Castle.

The large tree collapsed before coming to rest on the front of the vehicle at the Shell garage exit off Whichers Gate Road yesterday just before 6pm.

Luckily no one was inside.
