POLICE have found a 16-year-old from Portsmouth following an appeal after they went missing this afternoon.

Mercury, from Southsea, went missing at about 2.10pm today, (July 28).

Officers believed they were still in the Portsmouth area following their disappearance.

Officers and their family said they were ‘extremely concerned’ at the time, but they have since been found.

A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We are pleased to update you that Mercury has now been located.‘Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.’
