THE body of a man was discovered by police this morning.

Officers were called to Fawcett Road in Southsea just after 9am.

It was reported that forensic teams were on the scene and a tent had been put up near the bushes.

A police spokesman said: ‘We were called at 9.10am today to the discovery of a man’s body on Fawcett Road, Southsea.

‘The death isn’t currently being treated as suspicious.

‘A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.’
