Boat comes ashore on Southsea beach
People visiting Southsea are more than used to seeing boats out at sea – but today (July 2) one came a little closer than usual, landing right onto the beach itself.

The boat was spotted close to Southsea Model Village to the surprise of many including Sam Stephenson who shared this picture. The city is popular with boat owners due to its location adjacent to The Solent, with moorings available in a number of places in and near Portsmouth.
