Horizon Leisure’s award-winning leisure centres are more than just a gym.

If you look beyond their fantastic facilities, you’ll discover Horizon Leisure is a charitable trust, operating the leisure centres in Havant and Waterlooville on behalf of Havant Borough Council. As a charity, they don’t have owners or shareholders to pay, so any profits are reinvested in the wellbeing of local communities by continually improving their sport, leisure and wellbeing offering.

A way of life!

Horizon Leisure is passionate about the link between active lifestyles and maintaining good physical and mental wellbeing and is committed to providing accessible and affordable health initiatives for everyone.

Horizon Leisure generated £3.7 million in social value last year; the non-market economic, social and environmental value of the organisation.

At its centres, you will receive a warm welcome and safe space to become the best version of yourself. They understand that people come in all shapes and sizes and so do their activities; there is an offer and an activity for everyone, whatever your age, gender or background. Wellbeing at Horizon Leisure does not discriminate.

As part of the Horizon Leisure way of life, they build and support local groups, including Communities Against Cancer and ESCAPE-pain, a course for people with osteoarthritis of the knee and hip. Add in activities like long-term conditions swimming sessions, new dementia-friendly cricket and pre and post-natal classes and there really is something for everyone. And, by choosing Horizon Leisure, you can help them develop even more local community projects to support those needing their help to become active.
