STUDENTS celebrated the end of their GCSEs by releasing balloons.

The Year 11 pupils at Portsmouth Academy for Girls, in Fratton, wrote a personal aspiration for the future on their balloons.

These ranged from aspiring to be a doctor or teacher to simply being happy.

Natalie Sheppard, headteacher, said: ‘We couldn’t be any more proud of our Year 11.

‘We wish each and every one of them a bright future.’
